Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the very first episode of the Drummers I Like podcast features Sam Applebaum the drummer of Veil of Maya!

Hey drummers! Thanks for stopping by Drummers I Like where as of 4/20/2016 everything is NEW!!! We recently had The Digital Sync completely redesign our site and we think it turned out great. Now after a lot of planning and setup we’re here with our own weekly Drummers I Like podcast

! Our first interview with Sam Applebaum went well and we are excited for you to hear it! We need the help of our listeners as well! Every week we will do our best to bring you the right into the heads of the drummers you like. At the end of each of our podcasts, we will present user submitted questions for our guests. We encourage you to make sure you send us your questions when you see our posts on social media! You can also send them to info@drummersilike.com  Also, let us know if there is someone out there that you would like us to interview on the show as we would love to hear what you guys have to say. Here is some of the show info for episode #1 with Sam and his contact info and links are below!

In our first episode, Sam talks about his background in drumming and Veil of Maya being announced for the lineup of the 2016 Vans Warped Tour. Sam also announces that he will be teaching throughout Warped Tour with The Entertainment Institute. His class will be titled the Metal Drummers Handbook. We also dove into how Sam structures his lessons and about his teaching methods. Sam spoke about with us about his start in drumming, how he learned metal, his latest tour the Sumerian Ten Year Tour and also had some time to take some user-submitted questions about his setup, where he draws inspiration, and performing difficult songs live.

Sam had a lot to say and we can’t thank him enough for coming on the show and being our very first podcast interview! We sure had a blast doing it and we can’t wait to bring you next week’s episode featuring Matt Halpern of Periphery. Make sure to leave your comments below and leave a review for our show. It will help us build the best podcast we can for you and lets us know how we’re doing. Check back soon for the next Drummers I Like podcast!
